So what is a coworking day?
More and more of us now work from home. While the flexibility is great, it can also be isolating, particularly if you live in a rural area.
Coworking – working alongside other people – developed as a way to solve this problem. Unlike a traditional networking event, a Coworking Day is a great way to work alongside other freelancers, entrepreneurs and remote workers in a friendly, relaxed setting – so bring along your laptop or paperwork. And there will also be lots of time to get to know your fellow co-workers, to find out more about each other’s projects.
If you work solo and from home, it’s great to get out of the office and work in a different setting. But coworking is also about building a community. At it’s best, coworking brings like-minded people together, to work and learn alongside each other.
If you like the idea of coworking, come along and give it a try!
The space has everything you need for a productive day at work. Lucy from myworkhive or the team from The Bank Arts Centre will be on hand to make you feel welcome.
myworkive is a Suffolk social enterprise using remote and digital tools to help people return to work after a long gap – plus cutting carbon emissions from commuting.
